The Albertus Institute brings top level research in science, religion and other intellectual disciplines to the public, promoting open, respectful discussion of topical issues

Our beginning

Founded in 2012, The Albertus Institute aims to provide a forum in Scotland for public discourse on questions on science, religion, faith, ethics and technology. Our mission is to create a space for debate that is open, invigorating and respectful around the most pressing questions of the day. The Albertus Institute offers a path for engagement for society with the Christian intellectual community, but it has an ecumenical and open reach, working with those of other faiths and none.
